Paraffin Wax Treatments

A paraffin treatment can feel like just a luxurious splurge at the spa, but the truth is, it can be more than just an add-on to a manicure or pedicure. A wax bath has many wonderful benefits for both your skin and your overall health. Paraffin wax has a long history for treating all kinds of ailments naturally and it is still beneficial today.

Paraffin treatments can be used on hands and feet as well as other joints as a form of thermotherapy (deep moist heat) treatment.

After several layers are added, the wax will be covered in a plastic bag, wrapped in hot towels and you can relax as the benefits kick in. The wax will trap the heat against your skin as it hardens, opening the pores. Once the wax is completely cooled it will be pulled away, taking dead skin cells along with it.

Benefits of Paraffin

Paraffin Wax Treatments

Paraffin Wax Treatments

Paraffin wax has been shown to treat conditions like arthritis and fibromyalgia among others. A wax treatment acts as a type of thermotherapy, or heat therapy, that helps treat these conditions by increasing blood flow, relaxing muscles and reducing stiffness in joints. It can also help with minimizing muscle spasms and inflammation, and to treat sprains and pulled muscles.

Paraffin wax therapy can be particularly effective for those suffering from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Regular paraffin hand treatments can help relax joints and relieve pain in hands before physical therapy and exercise. They can also help with lowering fluid retention and flushing toxins, which can reduce swelling.

Aloe vera has been used for thousands of years as a safe, natural healer. Large amounts of historical and scientific data evidence testify to its efficacy. Science is now proving what naturalists have known throughout time: natural Aloe Vera contains six antiseptic agents that fight infection; three analgesics to reduce pain and at least three anti-inflammatory agents.   Hawaiian Moon Aloe is safe, 98.5% natural, and your skin will soak it right up! It penetrates the skin 7 layers deep, to the basal cell layer, hydrating and healing all the way up. The pure, organic Aloe Vera in Hawaiian Moon Aloe dilates the capillaries to stimulate & increase circulation (thereby, carrying away toxins), which aids in repairing your skin starting from the cellular level. Few things in the world can penetrate so deep. The result…beautiful, soft, healthy skin.
